To provide scholarships to deserving Missouri resident business students majoring in insurance or a related area of study in a Missouri college or university.

C. Donald Ainsworth Scholarship Application

To provide a scholarship to deserving college student who is from the St. Louis, Missouri area majoring in insurance or a related area of study in a Missouri college or university.

High School

To provide scholarships to four (4) deserving Missouri high school graduating seniors interested in or intending to pursue an insurance, risk management or actuarial science course of study in a Missouri college or university.

EARTHQUAKE AD CAMPAIGN 2019-2020

The Missouri Insurance Education Foundation (MIEF) teamed up with the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance to educate Missourians about earthquake risk and the need to have a plan. Many consumers are surprised to find their homeowners insurance policies do not cover earthquake damage – this generally requires purchasing extra coverage. The ad campaign ran in late 2019 and early 2020.

JOPLIN AD CAMPAIGN 2011

The Missouri Insurance Education Foundation (MIEF) would like to thank the following companies for their support of the “Help Share the Lessons from Joplin” campaign, following the Joplin tornado of 2011. This project was a joint effort between MIEF and the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance to help educate the residents of Joplin on the importance of having proper insurance coverage.
